Dear Duke—
I am annoyed that we have class tomorrow. Admittedly I drove to campus today but that was a 1PM, aka the time of day when the roads were maximally slushy rather than icy death paths. Tomorrow morning at 8 AM is NOT going to be safe driving time. Telling me to take the bus isn’t really helpful either. So basically, DUKE SNOW DAY FAIL.

Oh Duke Parking
So last April I got a ticket for parking outside my own building. I’d had my parking pass down while driving around in sketchy Durham and had forgotten to put it back up when I got home.
I remembered this the next morning on my way to the bus (before a 10:05 so it must have been 9:45 at the latest) and scampered over to my car— and lo and behold the ticket was there, issued at 9:30.

1) Police bust into Alivias, take two guys out. Sketchy.

4) Domestic dispute and a wanna-be vehicular homicide victim on Main Street.
5) On Time taxi pulled over near Buchanan (who pulls over cabs?)
6) Cops at Partners.
7) Witnessing mild scuffle at Cosmic AS WE SPEAK.
